The Quilted Vest is made of a durable, yet soft cotton blend quilted fabric. It was designed to be a modern twist on a more traditional look. The diamond quilted fabric is a longstanding, traditional favorite. The zipper closure and rear tie give the vest a more modern look. The quilted fabric shows no outlines of the LVAD. This is the ultimate way to discreetly hide and protect the LVAD. The vest is long enough to cover and protect the driveline. This vest is both machine washable and durable. The full width on the shoulders gives a balance to the LVAD, reducing potential body fatigue by spreading out the weight. The goal is to help wearers forget they have their LVAD on them. The outside features pockets to hold your personal items. The ribbon tie on the back of the vest allows for more individual adjustments. • The pockets on both sides accommodate either side driveline.
• The mesh pocket material allows excess heat to escape, protecting the controller.
• Battery pockets on both sides are located directly beneath the arms for improved balance and unrestricted arm movement.
• The hook-and-loop closures on the top of each pocket help keep the batteries securely in place.
• The pockets are designed to fit a HeartMate or HeartWare battery.
• Hook-and-loop loops next to the controller pockets manage any extra cables, keeping everything concealed and protected within the vest. (A separate controller pack is required for HeartWare LVAD machines.)
